We are a family-owned and run catering and equipment hire business that has been making special events memorable since 1988. Meal Time is based in Bedfordshire and covers a wide area including parts of Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. We cater for a variety of different functions from corporate events, canapé receptions & buffets to full sit down dinners for up to 500 guests. We also have a wide range of catering equipment available to hire such as tables & chairs, crockery & cutlery, glassware, table linen and full mobile kitchens for all types of functions from a party in a village hall to a marquee wedding. So whatever your occasion we have everything you need to make your event run smoothly.

No matter how small or large your event, you can trust Meal Time to provide you with a friendly, personal service. Our catering equipment hire division holds a large quantity of stock and offers a friendly and prompt delivery service throughout Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire (subject to terms & conditions) We also have a ‘Wash Up’ service available so you can return all of your items dirty and hassle free. All of our menu items are prepared using only the finest ingredients from trusted local suppliers. Every member of staff is fully trained in food service techniques and holds their ‘NVQ Food Safety in Catering’ certificate.

We can customize a menu around your favorite foods, or even a special theme. Alternatively we can supply you with a wide range of popular menu suggestions. Please take a look at our sample menus throughout our website with buffets starting from as little as £5.50 per person, canapé receptions from £5.00 per person and hot meals from just £21.95 per person.

In addition to quality catering, Meal Time can supply your function with wines and soft drinks and also provide floral arrangements at very competitive prices. We also have many highly recommended contacts in other areas such as photographers, car hire and cake making.
